Laura is a private tutor and qualified Primary School Teacher.
Laura offers common entrance exam tuition across all subjects for the 7 Plus , 8 Plus, and 11 Plus and interview technique following success in the school entrance exams.
She has worked with students with a range of social, emotional and behavioural difficulties including autism, ADHD and EAL. By adapting her communication style to the needs of different students, she has seen excellent progress in all of her students.
She has developed a style of tutoring which supports swift progress and confidence in learning. With an excellent knowledge base of the KS1 and KS2 National Curriculum, she has worked with students in the run-up to assessments for many top academic schools in order to improve upon their exam technique and subject knowledge. Students have been successful in passing their assessments and offered a place at one of their preferred schools. Her aim as a tutor is to help her students to perform at their best, building academic resilience and life-long intellectual curiosity, whilst instilling good values, positivity and confidence.
