Helping adults further their education

Private Tutoring For Adults

As well as introducing tutors to work with children, we also arrange private tutoring for adults.

Every year, we help adults further their education

Whether you are retraining and suddenly find you need GCSE biology or A level maths to get onto a course; or you fancy adding a new language to your CV, we can help.

We have highly experienced tutors on our books offering private tutoring for adults in English as an Additional Language (EAL). It can be daunting arriving in a new country, especially when you don’t speak the language as well as you’d like to. We can help you, not only to find the right words, but to find your feet.

How a tutor will help

A private tutor will tailor their lessons to make sure you don’t just know the right phrases, but you know how things work in your new city. Tutors can help you book tickets for your family to see a show, or to help you make the right impression when you meet new colleagues.

We’ve found it can be convenient for parents to have their own tutor alongside their children and it’s encouraging for children to see their parents learning too!

English as an Additional Language Tutor

Katie Lane has been a private tutor for ten years, specialising in English as an Additional Language.

She gained her CELTA qualification in Spain and during that time worked in Spain and London with people from all over the world.

Now Katie is based in London, she is a private tutor to people who are new to the UK and require an overall improvement in their language to help them with day-to-day things. Katie can also help with preparation for the Life In The UK test.
