Tom MacLean has been a science tutor since 2007. Since 2017 he has worked as a maths and science teacher in a specialist SEND school. The primary school-aged children have a wide range of learning difficulties. Tom is a SEND tutor to those with ADHD, Asperger’s, dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia.
Tom also provides common entrance tuition at 13 Plus Common Entrance and 13 Plus scholarship level for schools including Eton, Westminster, King’s College Wimbledon, Dulwich, Radley, Wetherby Senior. All of his students have successfully gained entry to their chosen schools.
Tom has particular experience in the Eton King’s Scholarship paper, and has been a private tutor for 6 boys taking this exam, 3 of whom are now current King’s/Oppidan scholars at the school/college.
Tom Maclean is also an A level and IB Diploma Science tutor. In addition he also provides support for University students. He has also been a home school tutor and taught the entirety of the GCSE specifications from scratch to those in home education. Tom sets and marks regular homework in addition to providing exam preparation.
