Pre-U Comparative Government & Politics
Pre-U Comparative Government & Politics exams are set by the Cambridge International Board, CIE. More and more schools are choosing for their students to sit the Pre-U exams either instead of, or mixed with, A Levels.
The Pre-U Comparative Government & Politics specification helps develops an enthusiasm for politics and the nature, traditions and philosophy of political thought and practice. In addition learners find out how to articulate informed opinions about government and politics, debating their issues. Furthermore the syllabus includes a series of core papers, each containing flexible and open-ended options. The syllabus also provides choice for schools and encourages broad and imaginative teaching and study.
A Pre-U Comparative Government & Politics tutor through Osborne Cawkwell will encourage students to develop a critical awareness of the nature of politics. In addition a tutor will help their student understand and engage in current political debates. Finally a tutor can also help with essay technique and writing skills, ensuring their student can construct an insightful and concise argument.
