Pre-U Art & Design
The Pre-U exams are set by the Cambridge International Board, CIE. More and more schools are choosing for their students to sit the Pre-U exams either instead of, or mixed with, A Levels.
The Pre-U Art & Design course encourages learners to use independent study skills, to connect to the world of art and design, and to develop the knowledge, ability, understanding and capacity to create a visual language. The syllabus is intended to stimulate personal response as well as encompass a wide range of means of expression and develop critical thinking in the advancement of the student as an artist or designer. The two-year linear programme allows learners time to develop greater maturity before producing final pieces.
A Pre-U Art & Design tutor through Osborne Cawkwell will support students, helping to equip them with the right tools and bolster their confidence to prepare their portfolio.
