IB World Religions
The IB World Religions Diploma Programme in forms part of Group 3 – Individuals and societies and is available at standard level only. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is an assessed programme for students aged 16 to 19. Furthermore the course is respected by leading universities across the globe.
The IB World Religions Diploma Programme course is a systematic, analytical yet empathetic study of the variety of beliefs and practices encountered in nine main religions of the world. In addition the course seeks to promote an awareness of religious issues in the contemporary world by studying of a range of religions. Furthermore in the context of the IB, it is appropriate to study a number of living world religions in a scholarly, open-minded and objective way.
An IB World Religions tutor through Osborne Cawkwell will help students debate and consolidate their learning. Tutors will also help their students develop their interest in, and enthusiasm for, the study of religions and their relation to the wider world. A tutor can also help with essay writing skills and work through past exam papers to ensure students are fully prepared for the exams.
