A-Level French builds on the skills learnt at GCSE level: students will develop an understanding of the language in a variety of contexts and genres, and learn to communicate confidently, clearly and effectively in French. They’ll also develop an awareness and understanding of the contemporary society, cultural background and heritage of the countries or communities where French is spoken.
An A-Level French tutor through Osborne Cawkwell will work on consolidating a student’s learning across the syllabus: helping them to develop their written, spoken and listening skills, master exam technique by working through example papers, and finally expand their knowledge in a particular area of cultural interest. At A-Level, French can be taken through the following examination boards: Edexcel, AQA, OCR, CIE and WJEC.
