Online tutoring can give you the reassurance your child is receiving the support and motivation he or she needs at this extraordinary time.
Having your children learning at home can be challenging, especially if you are having to work and can’t spend as much with them as you would like.
With schools closed to the majority of students and public exams cancelled this summer, I reassure you that we are still very much open and working hard to support you, your children and the tutors on our books.
Online tuition can:
- Give targeted academic support – whether with current studies or looking forward to next academic year
- Support students with structure and motivation – vital if they are studying at home without the rhythm of a school day and the support of their friends
- Focus on ‘extra-curricular’ subjects such as coding, creative writing and debating; it might even be a change to learn a language such as Italian or Mandarin
And as an incentive to engage a tutor while your child is learning at home, we are not charging an introduction fee for any new tutor requests from now until the end of July.
Even though tutors can’t visit you in your home, online tutoring is an effective and engaging way of delivering lessons. Tutors have been teaching online for years and have become adept at creating trusting relationships remotely.
(Please note that even though our tutors are all online now, we know each of them personally – some of them for more than 10 years!)
I and my team have always enjoyed speaking to clients in depth about their child and how we can help. So please do call – or email – if you are wondering how best to navigate this tricky time.
We look forward to hearing from you.
