Lonan Jenkins has been passionately working in Psychology education since 2010. Initially teaching Spain before moving back to London. He has a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in War & Psychiatry.
Lonan has been a private tutor for students sitting both GCSE and A Level Psychology exams. He enjoys delving into discussions with students on Freud, developmental psychology and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Lonan also enjoys explaining the tricker areas like research methods.
He has also worked as a home school tutor with students independently taking A Level Psychology who want to go on and study it at university. This involved working through the entire course content from beginning to end.
As a private tutor, Lonan always strives to develop the confidence and independent learning of his students. He enjoys thinking ‘outside the box’ and finding innovative and exciting ways to teach lessons.
Lonan Jenkins has extensive Special Education Needs experience, particularly with students on the Autistic Spectrum, students with ADHD and those with Oppositional Defiant Disorder.
“Lonan has been a real inspiration for my son who has lacked confidence in academic work over the years. He is enthusiastic but calm and patient which has been really important in helping my son focus and develop an interest in what he is learning.”
